Anthony quinn was a great actor!
Question Author
He was brilliant - did he get an oscar ? Lol @ 4get btw
He played Zorba the Greek, Zorba the Italian and Zorba the Mexican, Zorba the Bedouin..............
Not sure what films he got oscars in.Should be amongst this lot though. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Quinn

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000063/
Viva Zapata ! = Zorba the Mexican
Lust for life = Zorba the Frenchman
And he ahd a hit record, I remember buying it but can't remember what it was called : ( A very romantic song it was but i think he spoke it.
are you hinting that you find him slightly one-dimensional jack?
Can anyone remember his record? it would be about 1974,
Are you sure you're not getting confused with Telly Savalas and "If", Dot ?

In the main, craft, he could have just telephoned his performances in...............although apparently he was a gifted stage-actor.
