Did Eugene do the right thing?

I'm in a bit in two minds about what he did by taking the 50k.....I was shouting at the t.v. NOOOOOOOOO. I can understand him saying, well at least two people will have won something, and Eugene thinking he was going to be evicted by taking the money. Davina said that the other housemates didn't hear BB tell Eugene that if he said no to taking the money they would have doubled the prize money from 100k to 200k. Imagine if Ant-nee and Makosi had heard that.....omg.....they where peeved enough when Eugene went back into the living room, knowing that he had took the 50k....Kinga was the only one who said, I'd have done the same thing as you Eugene, but I would expect her to say that, she knows what the public think, she knows she doesn't have a chance of winning.

I think this was a test of how money hungry this lot are, if Anthony or Makosi had gone into the diary room they would have said no....straight away....200k for doing nothing...easy money.

I hope Eugenes decision doesn't lose him votes.....I STILL THINK HE DESERVES TO WIN.....GIVE HIM THE OTHER 50K

I don't think there was anything wrong with what Eugene did, but if it had been me, i would not have taken the money. This is not for any moral or altruist reason. I think if I had made it as far as Eugene has I would really want to *win* and would not do anything that might ruin my chances of that.

Obviously, he doesn't know how likely winning is, or how popular he is, but statistically he has a fairly good chance of winning by the simple fact there are so few of them left.

By this stage of the game, i don't really think the money comes into it, anyone left at this stage has the opportunity to make mega money - and we should remember the highest earning BB contestant ever is Jade, and she didn't win.

Yes, it was a free �50k, but he could get more than that in just one paper deal, so it's not IMO worth risking the chance of winning for such a small amount of money

eugene did da rite thing i think bcoz he felt that that would be rite and anthony sed that he wouldnt take it but they didnt tell eugene in the diary room that the money would go up if he sed no which i personally think is evil but n e way they all would have taken the money and i see wat u mean though 200k 4 doin nuttin i woulndnt even get that for doin a posh money giving job!!!!!! well it would be alot to win over 10 weeks!!!!!
