Hi can anyone help. I received a summons through the post regarding an incident on a night out. I was confronted by a boy which resulted in us scuffling. I didnt strike the boy as he is saying but he had little swelling to eye and little cut on nose. He was removed from the pub by several other people and in the process was taken to the floor. I was left in pub and have got 2 witnesses to confirm incident. He has no witnesses and so am confused why I have received summons. They have said pleading guilty now will result in lesser punishment. I do have previous and so am considering pleading guilty to get it out of the way. This boy also deals steroids and am thinking of mentioning this.

Why plead guilty to something you haven't done?

The steroids is a different case.

The steroids is relevent because it could affect their judgement.

Steroids make the user more aggressive. Normal calm people can become irritable and aggressive, or even violent, and they can experience mood swings.

I would mention it without a doubt.

And why do you keep saying 'boy'. If he is a boy why would be be in a pub? If he is under 21 then he is also breaking the law by taking steroids.
