only go door stepping when an election is due? I wuld have far more faith in someone who came round at other times to ask if there was anything I thought needed attention. Anyone who knocks on my door gets very short shrift I am afraid.

I think you misunderstand their intention.

There is little point in wasting time trying to convert people on the doorstep.

They want to find out who is going to vote for them so that on polling day they can keep a tally and then if you haven't voted by the evening and said you would they can nip around and smile sweetly and see if you need reminding or need a lift to the polling station.

Much more effective than trying to twist your arm
I understand where lankeela is coming from.

It seems we only see our MP when they want our votes and the rest of the time it is
"s0d them!"

Glad you understand where lankeela is coming from - lankeela is coming from TOTTENHAM lol think you may have heard of it.......
I don't think it's a case of 'sod them' between elections. If you've some burning issue with your MP you can always go to their surgeries.
Lankeela, what is the joke about Tottenham??

Are you taking the p1ss out of me???

Lankeela, if your gonna start popping off at Chelsea fans, ma I just thank you.
Your complete lack of effort at Wembely gave us a nice little warm-up prior to playing a real London team in the final.
