just found my kitten biting a pencil and some of the lead seems to be missing. will she be ok?

There is no lead in the center of a pencil. It is made up mainly of non-toxic graphite.
she might even start leaving you little messages on the kitchen floor
For 100 years or so, adults and children have been chewing the ends of pencils without harm.
Dogs come to no harm on a lead, so why not a kitten ?
She should be all "write".
