What's going on with the so called 'surge' in popularity for the Liberal party?
Why is it that because Nick Clegg comes across to some as a personable, genuine man his party suddenly gets popular? Liberal policies are still the same regardless of whether their leader is photogenic.
This isn't the X-Factor where people can get away with voting for Jedward even though they can't sing or dance, just because they seem like nice boys!
If you intend to vote for Nick Clegg please research the Liberal party's policies first!!!!

Brown and Cameron both have much to lose, so they were cautious and careful not to put a foot wrong. Clegg had little to lose, so was much more relaxed, and it showed. Also, last Thursday's show (15th April) was on domestic policies, where the LibDems probably have the strongest appeal. This week it's on foreign policy where Clegg will struggle (I think) to match the other two, and next week it's on finance and he won't be able to put Vince Cable on the stand; he'll have to carry the show on his own.
The only positive is that the tv interview's seem to have engaged the interest of younger people. I just hope they vote for policies not for a personality.
The only thing that would anger me more than that would be not to vote at all.
It would be so easy to 'lose' our democracy as has happened in other countries; just because people take our freedoms for granted.
