Yes he called her some sort of bigot, and she didn't deserve to be called that in that tone, but is it not good that he has no time for bigots? If that's how she came across to him, whether because he misunderstood or not, he must have got the impression she was a bigot.

Not so, Scotman. His influence stems from his being a minister. Given the worst-case scenario next weekend - a Lib - Lab coalition/pact, I would expect the Libs to demand not only the removal of Brown but also of Mandelson.
The Brits who leave the UK to live a better life in Spain and France etc don't receive free housing, NHS and benefits like the thousands of immigrants that come here.
