Wierd question about stolen jeans
45 Answers
Abit of an odd question here but i need some info as its driving me insane. My fiance who i live with was accused yesterday of stealing my sisters jeans. Both are 100% convinced that they belong to eachother, so my sister called the police.
Neither of them have receipts or anything like that, and the police are due at my house tomorrow.
What im wondering is whats the procedure for something like this? How are the police supposed to be able to tell who they belong to? And whats the charge if they are stolen??
Any info would be great !

I really do think this whole thing is a waste of police time, I wonder if someone will get charged with the cost of the time it took to write it all up and make a file and come round - etc.
