How do I stop anyone downloading photos of mine from auction website?

I make my own craft items and have been selling them on an auction site, how can I stop other people from downloading my designs?

one of the most effective ways to stop people stealing images from the web is to put a watermark on them with your name or your website's name on it.

watermarks can be added using graphics software such as photoshop or fireworks.

you can see what i mean on www.istockphoto.com - all the images have the web address across the middle of them.
