The trouble with all these winning "artists" on Britain's Got Talent,is most of them disappear after about a year, and are never heard of again!
ummmm is certainly correct.
Paul Potts is not an opera singer (he MAY be a singer,of sorts) but could never sustain a complete opera of 3 to 4 hours singing.
Sadly, these people are often one hit wonders, who could not get through a complete live evenings gig,nor have the strength and variety of singing to enable them to make a career out of it.
Look at Susan Boyle,I have no doubt she will soon go completely ton pieces and never sing again (she cannot take the pressure).
Look through the winners of BGT,and see just how nay are still making a career of their win.
BTW.
Paul Potts is now employed in tokyo, doing singing voicerovers (in Japanese!) for a TV advertising company.
Not quite an opera singer (or anything like it?)
Which brings me to Chris Stone.
He has a ver nice voice, which with training could take him quite a way(mainly I hope in musicals or CD'S) but without previous vocal training his voice may not be strong enough, and will be in shreds very quickly.
he seems a nice guy,I just hope that the musical agents(Cowell,Walsh etc) don't use him up ans spit him out,as they have done with so many on BGT.
