Dear Ed,

As it took a few mins for the St George flag to be posted as the AB avatar for 23 April, please may I ask early that we can have a maypole for Sunday May 1? That would be lovely - very traditional! All other suggestions for a May 1 avatar from other ABs are of course always welcome....

Ha, well spotted ttfn, I told you I wasn't quite the ticket this morning!

"Dear Ed, can we have it on Saturday May 1st please? If you want to leave it up for May 2 as well, that would be lovely, that's my sister's birthday!"

..and I should have known May 1 is Saturday, OH is going to Twickers that day!

Yes Ed I admired the flag on St George's day, I thought that was very thoughtful. A maypole or even, dare I say it, Morris Dancers would be good.

It was nearly 2pm on St Georges day before the flag got put up so don't hold out any hope of AB finding a Maypole logo anytime soon,
