What should I do

Right. I think I may have caused an accident when I was between the age of 6-8 on my bmx causing a man to crash! I remember it being on the front page of my local paper so I presumed he was dead!
I want to own up, the guilt had become too much, what do I do?

I presume the man wasn`t dead? Which means he`s alive and well> If that is the case - don`t worry about it. We`ve all done things in our childhood that make us ashamed - that`s life.

Go speak to someone like the Samaritans, they will let you talk in confidence if that's all you want to do. Or - if this is a wind-up - write your confession on a piece of paper, and bury it in a secret place, or set fire to it. You will have confessed, but nobody will ever know.

you certainly need to talk to someone first - after all what are you gonna own up to ? - I agree, Samaritans, priest or a doctor
it is not often that people have clear memories of the age of 6 that interferes with the rest of their life
