I've got Jon Anderson's autograph (from Yes), he opened the school fete years back in the village where my mum lived. He left in a helicopter.

Well David Essex used to live around the corner and OH used to do some building work for him. Very laid back, he was, just as you would expect.

I used to think David Essex was lovely, and Adam Ant was neat too, didn't he go a bit loopy?

Yes Adam Ant had a bit of a problem (bi polar? not sure) but David Essex was really nice, just like you see him on the tellie, albeit with more hair then ! George Best used to go in one of the pubs in the High Street and we used to see him thru the window with his drink ..
