Google has gone wonky?
Has anyone else found that the image search on Google doesn't bring up the images in the last few days? Everything else works beaut and no problem browsing piccies on sites.
I have a purview of techies at Google frantically running around with their hand in the air because thousands of ABers are looking for cool avatars. lol

If it doesn't there's something wrong with your browser. If you're not already using Firefox (which is far, far better than Internet Explorer), switch to it now:
http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/firefox/
If you're already using Firefox, simply reinstall it on top of itself (i.e. without uninstalling it first). That should fix any problems.

This is weird Chris. Installing Firefox over the old didn't fix it. Tried uninstalling completely and installing the latest version but no joy. Tried with IE and Maxthon but the same result. No images with image search. Web, Map etc. works just fine.Your link works ok and brings up the images. Tried google uk but get redirected to google NZ..
I am on my annual pilgrimage to AUS/NZ at the moment so I'll just blame the south pacific google server.

Thanks for the reply.
Perhaps you should remember that Google didn't invent image searching (or online translation or many other things which we associate with Google). They stole most of their ideas from AltaVista, which was always streets ahead of Google. Unfortunately, since AltaVista has been taken over by Yahoo! it's developments have stagnated, but it still provides the best image searching facility available:
