It's meant to be a ballot box, but they are usually black metal
I think someone bought it and claimed for it on expenses

Huh, couldn't do my maypole, still got time for the cardboard box, doh!
there must be a collection this week for paper recycling
Oh yes I never noticed it, it looks like a collection box, but at least Ed has tried. The Maypole (or the non maypole) would have been difficult to show on there so don't knock the ballot box.
