can anyone tell me what will happen here... i left my ex fiancee as he took his temper out on me, screamed verbal ause at me belittled me, called me a loony because id had depression etc...and finally shoved my head which frightened me enough to take our 2 year old and go. A week later he asked to c the child and i agreed but told him i wouldnt be back unless he did counselling. he then assaulted me by kicking me and pushing me in front of the two year old. i called the police and he was arrested and was due in court on his first appearance....he failed to show up as he had moved and didnt tell the police his new address...when they summon him again what do you think the likely outcome will be....police noted red swollen arm and red eye in their report...but no bruising was there later. i had been warned by a doctor i was seeing that he was verbally abusing me and emotionally aswell and that he would turn violent but i didnt believe it... would this be used as evidence ...would he be convicted?

how did you know his new address? Had you made contact with him after he kicked and shoved you in front of your child?

he moved in with his brother and he sees the child once a week...i was told i had to let him c her by a solicitor as it would go against me in court if i didnt

why what have you done that would make people judge you in court?

whether you let him see the child right now or not would have no bearing on the court proceedings.

if he fails to turn up again a warrant for his arrest would most likely be served. if he turns up.. do you think he'll plead not guilty?

if i deny him access apparently it makes me look 'vindictive'....so i went along with it. i have done nothing to him atall...just left him didnt assault him back or anything

i dont know if hell plead guilty he has denied he ever did it to my face so i assume not. he did admit it to my mum on the phone but dont think i can say that...not sure
