Mature Student Courses
1 Answers
Hello,
I left school way to young. Went to college and took my GCSE's (only 5) I have 4 A-C grade. After working for the last ten or so years I was made redundant. I have been thinking about University for the last couple of years and really would like to go this year. Trouble is I have never known what I wanted to do/be. I have always had a passion for Sociology/English Language/Animals/Music/Pharmacy. But cannot decide on what I want to eventually be, I do not want to make the mistake of starting a course and then regretting it and wasting my money. I am only in my 20's, I consider myself to be fairly bright but I am not a genius. Where can I get careers advice? I Google regular and have looked at the prospectus for my local Uni's and a few things interest me, but I don't want to just choose something then struggle after its all over to find a job in that field. Is there such a thing as careers advice with a human for someone classed as 'mature'?
Thanks guys
