Has Google changed ? I have just logged on to google and the page seems slightly larger than before
also when I search for something a large margin appears down the left hand side with such things
as maps, UK sites only etc. is there any way of getting rid of this margin as I don't like it..

settings, Even though you say you will get used to it I for one still don't like it.

I use google.co.uk and mine looks and works exactly the same.

What google website do you use?

When you say you "logged on" to google what do you mean?

Sorry I didn't answer sooner VHG, I mean Google.co.uk I have an icon on my desktop that takes me straight to it, the margin only seems to appear after you have searched
for whatever you want and the results are listed along with this "orrible" margin on the left...

I still dont see any changes on google.co.uk, even after a search.

I wonder what is the difference between yours and mine.

I wonder if google are rolling it out gradually.

Or maybe it is added by google toolbar?

Or maybe it is not being aded by google at all but by someone else.

I really don't know the answer VHG but it has definitely changed (for the worse) as

Funny, I have this evening just used google on my Windows 7 PC, and the column on the left IS there.

The PC I was using earlier today was on Vista and at that time the column was NOT there.

I will check my Vista box tomorrow and see what it looks like.

Mine was doing that too, agree it is awful, so I Googled and found a forum which suggested you remove the Google cookie. It worked for me !
