Just a quick question...
I have purchased something online from a plumbing shop... I ordered it over a week ago. Item not yet arrived.
I have called the company - which is apparently based in Ireland.
Their phones are switched to an O2 mobile permanently.
I emailed them and got a reply that it had been shipped on Wednesday.
I asked for the tracking number for Parcel Force. They gave me the postcode in error.. then the number they gave me doesnt register on the Parcel Force site.
I am so desperate for these plumbing fittings I have had to order via someone else.
How can I best get a refund from a company who's phones are switched off?
Should I refuse the delivery when it finally arrives?
If I accept delivery am I liable for shipping costs to return the item?
Just want to make it as easy for myself as possible.. and my instinct tells me to not accept or sign for the delivery when it gets here

Is there a link on the website that discusses refunds etc? normally under T&C
Maybe best googling the companies name and seeing if theres any other disgruntled customers who've posted comments online on the various consumer sites
