What is your 'guilty' buying secret? Stuff you pay far too much for, but an't help it...

Believe it or not, mine is food! I've been to a big Asian supermarket this morning and spent a fortune...on nori, dimsum wraps, spring roll wraps, wasabi, various Chinese pastes, rice wines, vinegars (for cooking) seasonings, seeds and spices, fresh and dried, various noodles and rices, soy sauce, fermented black beans, yellow beans...nam pla, sesame oil, kaffir lime leaves, holy basil, fresh coriander, palm sugar, raw prawn crackers, lychees, rice flour, chick pea flour, and uncooked poppadoms. it will last me months and makes dishes more authentic, so worth it in my book .

Irish Wolfhounds and associated equipments, like 100s of leads collars a huge doggy cabin and bedding and all that stuff to make them comfy :)) Bless em !!

Try to time one of your visits to the UK to coincide with a sale at Jimmy Choo's in New Bond Street.

Last summer, I got some strappy sandals, sort of semi-gladiator style, literally half price. It feels very naughtily indulgent wearing them with jeans.

I've only ever had 2 pairs of Jimmy Choos, and both pairs were too narrow for my feet. I've only got little feet anyway, and those shoes really pinched. Guccis fit me like a glove, and Kurt Geigers too.

Am I the only one with an obsession about buying towels? I just love that soft fresh feeling you get. Was in heaven when we decorated our bathroom in a different colour and I could go out and buy masses of new ones. Oh joy!

Books...and loads of them!...I can't resist 3 for 2's at Waterstones.

We have several really cheap Asian markets here in Plymouth....So I can spend guilt-free....and not all at once.......really authentic poppadums for only 89p a pack...love it!
