Can u tell me if quentins crisps were by a small independent company or bought over to walkers or the like?

Methinks someone is having a not so sbtle joke here. There was a man called Quentin Crisp, a flamboyant dandy, writer, playwright, and all roung loveable eccentric. Stangely, he never married.

No, I think there was a firm in Skelmersdale who made crisps called Quentins, they made Hedgehog flavour, or were they Bensens crisps?
Yeah I knew Quentin's Crisps were in Skem, I lived there for 100 years during 1981- 1986 and remember the factory, google Skelmersdale and the factory is mentioned.
