When do you think a child should stop being breast fed?

After reading the article, it seems the little boy isn't relying on the milk for sustinance - but as a treat.
Personally I think it's time to stop.

We had a mother come into playgroup to register her (4 year old) child and she asked if she could come in every snack time to feed him at the snack table! That flummoxed us a bit!

For tribal women who follow their natural instincts in a way that we've forgotten how, they stop breast-feeding at about 4 years. After that, they gently throw them off.
