Time Team controversy

I heard that if you ever want to start a fight amonsgt archaeologists you just have to say 'Time Team'. What do the archaeologists who DON'T like Time Team say is wrong with it ?

I think its something along the lines of proper archeology projects can't be rushed and completed in 3 days. Corners have to be cut, comprimises made, etc, etc. This is all fair enough - Time Team is more about exploratory digs that could potentially lead to a proper full scale dig taking several months to complete. It doesn't stop it being the best thing on TV either!

not only do they cut corners but they have very poor public relations pour exaole sea henge they commited sacralige they used a CHAINSAW to cut a section for derocronology with out consulting those who hold it sacrid.But apart from that there pretty cool.
