Tesco vouchers for Novotel hotels

I'm thinking of using my Tesco vouchers for a stay in a Novotel hotel. After enquiring with their booking line, it seems I can only use Tesco vouchers for a 2 night stay, and if I wanted a third night then I would have to pay this in 'real' money. Is this what other people have found with Novotel, and is the same with the other hotels you can use Tesco vouchers for?

I think if you look on Tesco Clubcard Deals website you'll find that all the Hotel chains specify 2 night weekend breaks
