In answer to your question on my post neices can be older than their aunties. Think eastenders michelle fowler had vicky and then shortly after pauline had martin making vickys uncle younger than her. So therefore mollykins brother had his daughter long before molly was born. Big age gap between brother and sister thats all

I'm not taking her into my home, I'm just an AB adopter :-)
^ is that similar to a child catcher?
My half brother is 40, his daughter is 24, i'm 16, simple, my neice is 8 years older than me.

Another odd thing is, my mum who is the step mum of my half brothers and sister, isn't old enough to be their mum. She is 8 years older than the odlest and 11 years older than the youngest.
My parents had their children quite late in life and with big gaps between us, with the result that my sister is older than my mother-in-law. My husband's famiy traditionally have their children very early, so MIL now has quite a clutch of great-grand-children who are the same age as my sister's grandchildren. Once you start adding in stepfamilies it gets even more complicated, as molly can testify!
