I'm defrosting some prawns for my dinner tomorrow and I would like a few suggestions on what I could cook them with, I suppose I'm looking for some nice recipes I could use.

Do any of you have any suggestions/recipes?

Prawn stir-fry, peppers, onions, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, soft noodles and a sauce of choice - lemon would be nice.
prawn curry.....medium, like a bhuna or balti
paella, chop peppers and onion, add peas seasoning
prawn omelette

dress with chopped coriander leaves, lime juice and a little grated zest, and some sweet chili or fresh grated ginger and have a salad with them

pan fry with garlic butter, serve with new potatoes and peas or salad

mix them with some lemon and roasted garlic mayo, put on favourite bread and have them with a portion of real chips

or a Thai prawn laksa, soft noodles, fish stock, lemon grass, galingal or ginger, a little garlic, coconut milk, a little thai red curry paste, shredded spring onions and mushrooms
This is what I'm having tonight. It's really quick and easy and very very tasty.

Top tip....have everything chopped before you start.

I also add other things as well.....Got pok choi, sugar snaps and baby sweetcorn to go with it.

Also....are your prawns raw or cooked?

That's a good point ummmm, coz if the prawns are already cooked, just warm them through else they'll go tough
you said that to me vibes about my Morroccan Lamb Tagine..... I ignored you, amalgamated 3 different recipes, marinated it sat night and cooked it last night. I was bl00dy gorgeous.

They are cooked Ummmm, I got them in marks and spencer, have them defrosting now.
i fry mine in olive oil and garlic and chili. I do them until all liquid has gone (frozen prawns kick out a lot) and they are golden.

serve with new pots and salad
