Hmmm.....I was walked to school and back but only because it was walkable and mum was around to walk us and it was safer back then!

Jeez.....My kids learnt their address at nursery.

It does make you wonder! What if they ever get lost or something???
I use to drive my kids to school, about 2 miles, then started walking with them. Now they walk on their own (with his friends). He's almost finished primary though.
walking to school or driving to school makes no difference if a child isnt told to learn their address. My eldest knew his address long before he even started nursery though, i feel its important regardless
We use a combination, depending on the weather. I fail to see why we should get soaked when I have a perfectly good car sitting outside my house!
