I've eaten rattle snake in Mexico...cow's heels and goat's head soup in Jamaica...chicken's feet and pigs ears in china - sea urchin in Japan. I drew the line at putrified whale meat in Iceland though, the smell was unbelieveable!!

What is weird to one person is probably normal to another! I have happily eaten snails, squid, octopus, frogs legs, etc. but to me a banana is far worse than any of these and makes me heave. Except for those wretched balut eggs which I have never gotten out of my head!!
sheeps brains on toast when i was a kid. My gran, grandad and dad used to have
sheeps head.

Davethedog - no, funnily enough I didn't feel aprehensive at all, our chef had been making fugu for 35 years. In fact, I was far more worried about this big gu this mad Mexican had on his belt when giving me the rattler to try - he looked like a typical Mexican bandit, one eye closed, huge drooping black moustache, teeth missng the others dirty and broken and a maniac laugh!
Question Author
that SHOULD have read 'big gun', and yup, i saw the Simpson's episode, i love the simpsons, and why are people under the mis-aprehension that it's a kids programme - it isn't!!
