I say if there is no 110volt available and the area is in a low risk area then you can my mate says you cant

Yes worked on many a site i no 110volt cables and transformers are the thing to use.
My question is if they are no 110volt transformers on site can you use a 240 volt reel cable extenstion to plug in to the mains so that you can then plug in your 110 volt transformer next to were your working.
This was a health and safety question we got on a course today i said yes my mate said no.
