@SNAFU - The BNP fielded candidates only in those areas where they felt they had the best chance -repeat: the best chance - of gaining votes, and in only 4 of the seats they contested did they get enough support to retain their deposit. Hardly a ringing endorsement, and on that basis, why do you think they would have done any better had they fielded a greater number of candidates?
