Waiting for Dagenham and Redbridge to win
6 Answers
I've had a £2 'Long List' football bet this week, over 3 days and the only result I am waiting for is the play-off at Morecambe (v Dag and Red) tomorrow night. If Dagenham win, I make nearly 300 quid.
Any advice as to whether it may be worth covering a Morecambe win, or the draw?
Current odds are roughly Evens on Morecambe to win, and 5/2 the draw.
I reckon I'd be happy taking £250, but should I just hold out for the Dagenham win, following their onslaught in the 1st leg?

Bookies have Morcambe as favorites, In your shoes I think I might take the money now but who knows?

Thanks for your thoughts, guys.
mighty, I'm with you on DnR not busting a gut and understand Morecambe have a strong home record, coupled with that I believe tonight is their last match at their current stadium(?).
I saw the 1st leg though (a match in which Morecambe had pride AND a realistic chance of promotion to play for).
I hear (WH website) that DnR will probably field the same side, with the possible exception of one player who's one yellow away from a ban (i.e. he'd miss the final).
x-ray, the bet is only on tonight's 90 mins, but my gut feeling is that DnR will outscore them again.
Think I'll cover Morecambe and the draw with £40-50.
Thanks again for your views guys!
