My taste for the odd libation isn't really governed by the seasons - I tend to stick to the same drinks - brandy, gin, sloe gin and fursty ferret if I fancy a beer. Not necessarily all on the same day you understand sophie! I don't do wine any more.
Question Author
I do tend to stick to red wine butthere are certain drinks that seem more summery/wintery than others, wouldn't drink mulled wine in summer for example! And eh up, this questions been made a stickie (is that the word?) first one ever, I'm impressed!
Well done sophie !
I tend to stick to the drinks I know, winter and summer.

ttfn birthday went OK thanks, out for a meal yesterday evening, and we'll be going out tomorrow, my daughter has arrived tonight for the weekend so we'll be shopping tomorrow, and going for a few drinks and a meal later.

Definitely a Mojito... made properly with fresh mint, fresh lime, brown sugar and sparkling water. Possibly the most refreshing drink on a hot day.

Although if I'm wearing a camp shirt, I may have a Strawberry Daiquiri.

Love Corona larger too :)
A very large vodka and tonic with lots of ice and lemon.
gin and tonic. the quinine ion the tonic stops the knats biting
wheat beer chilled. I've brewed my own and used coriander seeds and bitter orange peel for a subtle twist like what Hoegaarden do. Its turn out quite well.
