Does anything change?

I have been absent for a while as I am really busy at work. I got up early this morning and thought I would have a quick check to see what was happening, and amazingly enough, nothing seems to have changed.

There't the typical post about English flags being banned (you could insert England Shirts, Hot Cross buns, Christmas or anything else depending on the time of the year). As normal, it turns out that it isn't banned, but fanciful reporting.

AOG continues post the most and espouse his extreme views (and his paranoia seems to have remained the same).

In reality, I guess that several years ago, Ward Minter was the equivalent of AOG (in the right corner) and Bernardo was the equivalent of Zeul (in the left corner). Both of them havent posted to my knowledge for quite some time.

So the people and names change, but the topics remain pretty similar

Anyway, just thought I would pop on to say that I won't be on much more - nothing personal, no tantrum, no resigning - just pressures at work and home life. I am sure that I will come on occasionally when time permits (and I am sure that things won't have changed again).

jno - There was an 'anti-flounce' vaccination/inoculation available on Chatterbank a couple of months ago when there was a nasty outbreak of 'flouncing off'.

Perhaps OEV considered himself to be in one of the 'at risk' groups and took advantage of its availability ?

Well in my case you won't be missed, although I do hope your family & work pressures are not too serious.

Perhaps you should try and see the other persons point of view for a change, and also realise that because others have a different view from Oneeyedvic they are not necessary wrong.

But just a closing note your sparse two pence you intend to still put in from time to time, may be even more devalued in the future.
