... what a farce. Not saying EE isn't good at times and has it's good actors - Lacey Turner is indeed a little cracker of an actress and the whole Syed/Christian/Masoon gay storyline was fantastically acted.

But - they almost swooped the awards and I don't think many of them were justified. How could they not award Danny Miller an award for his portrayal of the tortured gay Aaron? His duet with the character of Paddy was fantastic - acting at it's best. Even Danny Miller himself raised his eyes every time yet another award went to EE.

I have felt for years the bias has been towards EE - but last night, more so than ever. Corrie beats it hands down, Emmerdale has had some fantastic acting this year, and even Hollyoaks deserves more than it ever gets compared to EE,

I noticed that too moonstone. In fact when she went up for her award I said to my husband, "If she smiles she'll crack her face".

I agree completely. How could Eastenders have taken nearly every award. I know that it's down to viewers votes in the end but the original nominations are chosen by the so called experts. So how come Adam Woodyatt was in the category 'best actor', he's the most wooden actor I've ever seen and always has been. Danny Miller should have won that without a doubt!

just read all the replies and totally agree - couldnt stand aaron when he first came onto Emmerdale - but he has totally evolved and his acting is superb - E/E is rubbish - i do tv extra work on all the northern soaps - and aaron is a gorgeous guy in person too - very very pleasant!
oh just got to say also that if Haysi06 is his real photo on his profile then - nice looking guy!! xx

Yes the public do vote beejaybee but from a list of about 10 compiled by a panel of experts. On the programme all the nominations were shown briefly before the final four were announced.
