The 5th Dimension certainly sang the original hit version however the version in the advert is sung by another group.

The original is on a compilation CD called Groovy Baby by various artists. If you are quick there is a secondhand copy for just �1.49 on amazon.co.uk now. The CD is excellent if you like that kind of sound.

Apparently, the version on the ad is by Ronald Dyson, from the original 1968 Broadway cast recording.
