Urban BBQs
23 Answers
Does anyone else think BBQs are the scourge of suburbia? I was sitting in my terraced garden this afternoon and the people 2 doors away fired up the BBQ. Apart from the fact that I can`t understand why people want to eat carcinogenic crap cooked in the garden when the sun comes out, why do all the neighbours have to suffer. I managed to survive for a while and refused to retreat indoors but it`s just started up again and I`ve had to shut all the windows. My whole house absolutely reeks of sardines. i know people just want to enjoy themselves but why should I have to suffer?

Can I do anything about it (with the exception of spraying Tiger wee all over the place)? No. Do I expect a ban on cats? No. It's all part of the swings and roundabouts of community living.
So stop moaning, nip to Asda, pick up some burgers and a couple of tinnies and join in with your neighbours. You've gotta admit having a social life is a lot better than being a complaining hermit.
