According to :-

http://www.yourdictionary.com/idioms/soft-spot

This expression, first recorded in 1753 as “a soft place in one's heart,” uses soft in the sense of “tender.”

Nowadays it would be a hard spot in his pants
Fair play to him, when asked what he would have been if he wasn`t a footballer he replied ...."A virgin"
Question Author
ha ha ha, see goodlooking and funny too :-)
I think Peter crouch has a great smile, nice eyes, and he's a bit brighter than the average footballer in that he can string a coherent sentence together without 3 y'knows and a couple of urs. couldn't fancy him but thats because he's a bloke but he is not without his appeal.....its the bambi on ice thing....
