How to get rid of ants

We have a trail of ants in our kitchen and going into the hall. I have put some nippon ant killer down. Shall I hoover the ants up or let them eat the poison

Let them eat it and carry it into the nest that way it should get rid of the problem for good. There's a product called Deathlac which I find more effective them Nippon you can get it from Wilkos

i wasn't sure about this either they are still alive so if you hoover them up they still will be ,try and find where they are coming in and put the stuff there for the time being or as was suggested before in other threads flour or talc as they don't like the powder


hope you get rid of them soon they are annoying little fcukers xx

thanks for your answers. its really weird on the back of the bottle it says to put a few drops on a flat piece of plastic or glass by the ant run but what I don't get is it says do not disturb feeding ants, which pass Nippon onto the entire colony.

Oh I think I get it now. Now they are feeding on the nippon don't disturb them as they will pass it onto the colony. I thought before it sounded as if this was a bad thing
