Unless the coalition collapses the next election will be on the first Thursday of May 2015.

The Government propose to introduce fixed 5 year term Parliaments.

personally, I wonder if five years is too long. I would have thought four, as in the USA, was a better term; voters just seem to get fed up with anyone after five.

It's great for us. They just scrapped back dated taxes for ports. Several companies near me were ready to go under thanks to Labour.
