My only objection is working foreigners not putting anything back into our economy.Choosing instead to send their money back home to afford them a lifestyle they could only have dreamt of otherwise.I know it happens..
The most foreign workers here (non EU) i see play the accordion on the streets or sell the Big Issue. They don't contribute to the economy in any way but it can't be seen as an "easy touch" though. I've seen the sleeping bags under the stairways.

Keep looking jatte, they do not come here for the weather, they come here to TAKE what you have paid in taxes since you left school. by saying that it's the government to blame for allowing them the chance to claim political asylum! do you not think?
If our country isn't 'an easy touch for foreigners' how come they trek half way across Europe to get here?

Because the rest of Europe isn't as soft as us and doesn't have as many free handouts as us

They see our country as the pot of gold at the end of the European rainbow

We should ntake the same stance as the Aussies
* should
*should take!
"Because the rest of Europe isn't as soft as us and doesn't have as many free handouts as us"

Many people in Ireland would feel the Irish government is soft when it comes to this issue
