Seriously...???
Clear all your Browser's cache, including Temporary Internet files, cookies and browser history.
Also check you have latest Java version installed in Add/Remove (remove and update to latest version from Sun Java)

Hi AIBags - did that and the little box came up on one of my open pages but not on the others (I like to have seperate pages open rather than having all those tab things), so I shut my laptop down and now the little box is not coming up on any of my pages - any ideas? Thanks
Hi
Somewhere on the right track then.
Are you usuing Sun Java .. shown in Add/Remove, and did you check and update? If you look, you should be seeing Java6 Update 20. You can check and update from the Java Panel you open in Control Panel.
You sure you deleted all cache, including Google cookies?

It's not there (it used to be - had to use it do something else, which someone on here told be how to do!).
What do you mean by "google home page"?

The google home page is pretty much a blank white page with a big serch box in the middle and a google logo, if you are seeing anything else you are using igoogle, which lets you design your own layout. if thats the case you've removed the search element somehow.

Or are you talking about a little search box outside the main page and in the title/heading part of the window? in which case you probably used to have the google toolbar, but don't any more.

Thanks Chuck - I've sorted it now (the google toolbar must have fallen off and I have reinstalled it). Thanks
