keys for repossessed property
Hi i have just purchased a repossesssed property within a block of flats, that has a security entry door.
I was advised by the seller that they would not be changing the locks within the flat and that they held no keys for such. However when i got the keys for the front door i discovered that no key existed for the security door and as such cannot gain access to even the front door of the flat. What is the situation regarding not being able to gain access on an agreed entry date, and the security door lock. thanks

As CAS said, you can contact a locksmith and gain entry that way, and then submit a bill to the vendor's solicitors, but I would advise that you get your solicitor to make a call first to get authorisation. I can't remember the procedure regarding repossessions, but there is bound to be some sort of legal remedy.
