ChuckFickens, Sorry!! I worded the question badly.
I have been using a program called ViddiPlayer 1.6 to (Through Real (Player)) to listen
to BBC radio stations:-Without the internet being switched on,now, Real have told me that this stream has been cancelled at the end of May 2010, and was wondering if any
programes like ViddiPlayer 1.6 that could let me listen to BBC--Without the internet being switched on?

Are you sure you are listening "without the internet being on"

I can't see any options in that software to record a stream for later playing, all I can see is it will play a stream live. (your not thinking that because you have shut your browser your not connected to the internet are you?)

Hi ChuckFickens, All I want is to be able to listen to, not record, the BBC radio stations, without having the Firefox
browser active. I installed the ViddiPlayer 1.6 program 2 yrs. ago and my routine would be,-turn on computer, click on viddi player and choose radio five or radio 4 etc. then I could listen to it, while working away at other things, no browser involved. Seemingly the viddiplayer is tied up through the RealPlayer complex, and RealPlayer has now discontinued this stream at the end of May-2010. What can I do to be able to get the BBC radio stations, without browser.
I have, windows XP (Home Edition), RealPlayer SP 3.
I'm not great at explaining myself, and hope this makes sense. Thanks for the help.
