40th Birthday present ideas please

I have a very dear friend, who I consider to be my self adopted sister, we have never actually met (she is in Canada) but we have spoken on the phone. She is going to be 40 at the beginning of September & I want to mail her a gift. She is very stylish, so I need some ideas of something chic to send her that wont break the bank and be practical to post. I'm not sure about restrictions on items that can be posted but I am guessing that food items are a no no! Please help, so I can get the ball rolling! Hugs all xx

How about a home made DVD filmed around your town, your family, your home, your local pub, work etc. All about you.

If you have never met, and are that close, I am sure she would cherish a little part of your life.

If you do not have a decent camcorder, I am sure you can borrow or hire one.

How about a bracelet? It doesn't have to be gold or silver. There are a couple of gift shops near me that sell some beautiful jewellery which starts at about �10.
