Personally I blame the parents of today for so many of the terrible acts appearing on X-factor , Why do they encourage their children in spite of their obvious lack of talent? If I had attempted to to enter X-factor with my lack of singing ability my folks would have no hesitation in reminding me of my limitations, thus saving me the heartbreak , and embarrassment !

I agree with you, I really can't see how some people let their friends/family go on it knowing they're painfully bad...even if the person doing it believes they are good..they should save them from the humilation and rejection!

I couldn't believe it when that girls mother said something along the lines of... what's the point in her living if she can't sing?   I nearlly fell off of the sofa! What a great mother, lots of support there!

personally i wonder what gives sharon osbourne the right to an opinion ? whats her major contribution to music ?

i know she manages ozzy but does she really take that big a role in his career ? when watching the programme she seems to do absolutely nothing !

Even if your child had no talent, if they really wanted to go on and be auditioned you should give them every support, and start by making sure they WEAR AN OUTFIT THAT DOESNT LOOK LIKE IT CAME FROM A RAG & BONE yard and the boots were underneath it in the pile!

It is pityful but gives us all a bloody good laugh along the way! i was weak with laughter at the rapper called "white boy" and the rapper who came back from last year he'd give eminem a run for his money...................NOT! cant wait to see the old lady with her shopping trolley next week......brilliant stuff!!!!!!!!!
