Heskey, who's hardly scored any goals for ages, is renowned for falling flat on his face. Let's hope he does so while climbing the steps up to the plane flying England to South Africa, and Walcott gets the call after all. What do you think our chances are with Theo?

I was talking about this year, Geezer. You're not going to win the world cup, okay? (And I'm not cynical - I'm just not British.)
Heskey is the "John Barnes" of the England team. 'He will come good one day!' 90 caps later...still waiting.
dont think much of heskey but then I thought walcott was crap in the latest games
VHG & Count A Strong..........so if experience is vital in a squad member how come Stephen Warnock has played just 6 MINUTES in an England shirt and that was 2 years ago?

or maybe you think Kenny Sansom (Englands most capped left back apart from Ashley Cole) should be in the squad as 'experienced' cover for Cole
