i have spent all day putting up a wardrobe for my daughters bedroom, felt so proud when i was putting the doors on because i had done it myself,,,, bummer, they have gave me the wrong screws to put the hinges on and they have come through the side, got to dismantle and take back, only to have to start again...

normally they have a screw size for the hinge in the instructions, I would normally measure them to make sure I have the right ones

Retrospect- a wonderful and yet highly annoying thing!
Take it back and tell them your tail of woe in an e-mail,you never know,they might send you a coupon to cheer you up!

cazz i did not measure them because they was the only screws left, did not think for one minute they was not going to be the right ones.

I wouldn't have queried it either if they were in the pack.

I still have a half built filing cabinet which has been lurking for waaaay too long now, couldn't even get the screws all the way in, even with a power drill!
