How can you tell the difference between a summer cold and hayfever?

I've got sinus pain, a snotty nose, a cough, headaches, and a really short temper. Any help gratefully recieved.

Just getting over the same thing myself. Sudafed was the only thing that helped me

Maybe try some antihistermine tablets, if it's hayfever they should relieve the symptoms, if not they won't harm you..............hope you feel better soon........

You've got gluey sinuses.......mine get so bad they affect my balance (nothing to do with drink), I use an Olbas Oil inhalant.......if you want to try it just buy Olbas Oil and put some on your pillow.

Bobs... I had the same thing last week. If you have headaches and a cough, chances are it's a virus and not a sensitivity. X

I have similar problems except no headaches. I haven't tried any medication other than trying the traditional honey and lemon hot drink but that only eases the symptoms for a short while. My problems have persisted for about four or five weeks but now seem to be getting less so it may be a case of let it run it's course? Sorry I am not much help but I wish you all the best.S.O.G
