Mobile broadband in Tenerife

I am taking my laptop with me to Tenerife for about a month and I have a PAYG Mobile Broadband dongle and I wondered how much it would cost to check my emails etc for say half an hour every couple of days.
Does anyone have an idea?

If you can look at your email via a web browser (most email companies offer this) you may be better using a PC in the hotel, or in an internet cafe.

This will almost certainly be cheaper.

Agree, use the hotel if they have a internet facility (most do), much cheaper than using a dongle. That bloke who kept on-line while he was stranded by the volanic ash ended up with a mobile bill of £7000.
