I left loads of stuff - just didn't feel right to strip the place.

My sis once left the carpet but took the underlay. She'd had a fall-out with the purchaser, who gave her a lot of grief. Sis argued that she'd agreed to leave the carpet, but made no mention of the underlay!

Personally I couldn't be ar$ed to do such a thing. Too many other things to think about.
I left curtains, carpets, lights, toilet roll holder etc.when I moved as I was assured these were all being left in my new place. The day we moved in all lightbulbs, carpets, curtains etc had been removed by previous owners. Our solicitor advised us not to pursue it as they had moved abroad and it could end up costing us a lot of money.
